160 repositories are currently established in the Digital Academic Archives and Repositories (DABAR) system. DABAR enables the simple establishment and maintenance of a large number of reliable and interoperable institutional and thematic digital repositories and archives at no cost to institutions - users of DABAR.
At the beginning of 2023, five new repositories were established in the Dabar system:
- Repository of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Rijeka
- Repository of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega
- Repository of works of the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb
- Repository of the Croatian Veterinary Institute
- Repository of the Academy of Applied Arts, University of Rijeka.
Three additional repositories are currently in the process of establishment, which meet all the necessary prerequisites for opening an institutional repository:
The number of objects stored in repositories is also continuously growing, which currently stands at 217,327, while the percentage of objects in open access is 48.2%. According to statistics, in the past year 2022, the number of stored data sets also increased, and currently 104 data sets are stored. It should be noted that the Dabar system enables the storage of all objects in accordance with FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Resolvable) principles, including research data.
