Denise Whitelock: "Adaptable learning platforms, intelligent teaching systems, and personalized mechanisms for providing feedback can be enhanced through artificial intelligence. This lecture will highlight the role of artificial intelligence tools, such as ChatGPT, in opening up new possibilities to foster student engagement, improve learning outcomes, and create a more efficient and effective educational environment."
How aware are we of the possibilities and benefits that artificial intelligence brings to education? Are we familiar with the challenges and uncertainties it brings? How is artificial intelligence changing the role of teachers and students? Will artificial intelligence reshape the educational environment, and how much should we actually rely on it in our work?
We are delighted to announce Professor Denise Whitelock, who will attempt to provide answers to these and many other questions in her invited lecture titled "Artificial Intelligence in Education: Making Students Matter" at the SRCE DEI 2024 conference.
