SRCE Presents CroRIS and the Digital Repository of Innovations at the University of Zagreb

11. 11. 2024.

The first session of the University of Zagreb Economic Council was held on Friday, October 25, led by Mr. Sc. Gordana Kovačević, Chair of the Economic Council and President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d.

During the session, SRCE presented the Croatian Science Information System (CroRIS), focusing specifically on the integration of an Innovations Record in CroRIS and the new Digital Repository of Innovations for the University of Zagreb.

This innovations repository enables easy and transparent access to information on innovations from the University of Zagreb and across Croatia. Each innovation entry includes a description, keywords, and title, along with metadata such as target market, related disciplines, development stage, type of intellectual property, associated works, contact persons, and additional relevant information.

By establishing this innovation record, the pathway for innovations from research laboratories to the market and their commercialization is expedited, directly supporting societal and economic development.

The addition of the Innovations Record in CroRIS marks an essential step in advancing the CroRIS system and strengthening ties between academia and industry.

The University of Zagreb has developed over 80 innovations in collaboration with industry, and a Catalog of Innovations has been published, providing detailed data on these achievements. On this occasion, University Rector Prof. Ph.D. Stjepan Lakušić encouraged Economic Council members to actively participate in this project by registering their achievements in the CroRIS system.
